The T-1500 from Wollensak / 3M is a two speed monaural reel-to-reel tape recorder, with neon indicator for recording level control. It was based on the original Revere design, and was in production for about ten years. It appeared in variants that differed only in details.
Details
The T-1500 is a device based on tubes: 2 x 12AB5, 12AX7, 12AT7, neon indicator. The power consumption is approximately 100 watts / 60 Hz. The mono tape recorder has two speeds. The maximum reel diameter is 18 cm. It has inputs for phono, radio and microphone and a connection for external speakers. The microphone supplied is a B-162-4.
